Hayata has achieved IEC 60068-2-6, which is a vibration test procedure for Stainless Steel Cable Ties mounted to cable. The test is used to determine whether a component, device or piece of equipment can withstand specified levels of repetitive mechanical vibration without mechanical damage or unacceptable degradation in performance. It can also be used to identify resonances and evaluate the mechanical robustness or dynamic behavior of a product.
In our test, the cables were mounted on a X-Axis Test and then a Y-Axis using Hayata;s TBC Roller Ball Ties. The test ranged from 5Hz to 100Hz for 90 minutes at various frequency ranges with no resonance or anomalies observed. The result? All of Hayata’s uncoated and coated TBC Roller Ball Ties in the following widths: 0.18, 0.31”, 0.50”, 0.625” passed this important, mission-critical IEC vibration test.
This certification is just another example of why we say Hayata is the strongest around!™ You can confidently use Hayata’s TBC Type Roller Ball Ties to mount cables near high-vibration areas on shipboard or other locations.
